Revisiting Formula 1 97
Time for a new season! After completing the 1995 season in Formula 1, we move to the PlayStation classic Formula 1 97 to have a crack at the 1997 Formula 1 World Championship.
But before we jump into another "Justice for..." campaign, I wanted to revisit this classic game to remind ourselves what new updates and challenges we are likely to face in the new season.
So I fire up Jean Alesi's Benetton B197 at Silverstone to test out the opposition. One session was a success, the other was a disaster...

This is a pre-season revisit race before I play through the Psygnosis and Bizarre Creations classic - Formula 1 97 for the Sony Playstation.
Despite owning a copy of this game for over 20 years, I have never completed the game and won the World Championship. So I will be teaming up with another driver who also never won a world title to try and become champions!
I'd love to hear your memories of playing this game! Did you have any close championship battles? Who did you choose to try and make a champion?
