Hello Sweets!

Welcome to the first video of our Revisiting Old Games Month! For this video, we're going back to an old favorite, the game Raji: An Ancient Epic. Since this game focuses heavily on the mythological aspects of India and really plays into the fun of Gods and Demons, you all should remember from our AAPI month, Raji takes place in India; but, not just any India! Raji and her brother Golu (Goo-Lu) get swept up into a world where their friends and families are being taken by Mahabalasura(the lord of demons)'s demons; including Raji's brother Golu! Raji, being the strong female lead she is, is blessed by Durga with the Trishul, her most powerful weapon.

After receiving this blessing Raji is able to put her skills to use. She starts climbing, jumping, dashing, and fighting all kinds of monsters with Durga's Trishul. She also gains favor with Vishnu and he ends up helping Raji as well. So much so, that he even lends a helping hand by giving her his mighty bow, Sharanga, an ancient bow crafted by the craftsman of the Gods themselves, Vishwakarma! This comes into much use as Raji trudges through the beautiful scenery and game mechanics. As she swaps between Trishul and Sharanga, she gains an all around combat feel that most games don't give you. This, along with the power orbs, allows for a fun and strategy based combat section anyone can enjoy.

I hope this sheds light onto my fellow AAPI friends this month and especially my Native and American Indian and Hindi/u friends. I truly appreciate all of your support and I hope you will also support all of the wonderful AAPI culture this month! They all deserve so much more than we are giving them! ✊❤
