Hello Sweets!

Welcome to the third video for our AAPI Appreciation Month! Today we're continuing our month with Into The Breach, a game created by Chinese and Taiwanese-American artist and video game designer Justin Ma and his partner Matthew Davis. This game was developed by the indie studio, Subset Games in 2018. Subset Games also made FTL. Into The Breach is a a turn-based strategy game. You get to play as a Time Traveler who slays monsters with Mech. It was made with a 90's theme/aesthetic so it feels very nostalgic to anyone who grew up playing games with the original pixel art.

As you move your mech around the field, monsters appear and your goal is to stop them from destroying your mechs as well as the power grid that is supplying power to your mechs. It is a very difficult strategy game, yet very fun and addictive! There are also bonus missions you can try to do to get extra charges for your power grid, stars for extra tech for your mechs, as well as many more. It's a fun game filled with mind bending strategy and difficulty. So, if you're looking for a good challenge, this is the game for you! 😄
