RG77: Mega Man 7 - Junk Man, Freeze Man, Cloud Man, Burst Man 100%
I've always considered Mega Man 7 to be very overlooked, it was released right around the same time as Mega Man X so it seems like many people were more focused on that and left the original series behind. Despite that, Mega Man 7 is still a very fun game! Even though it doesn't have cool features like wall jumping or dashing, it has many redeeming traits that make it very enjoyable for any Mega Man fan. You begin the game with access to only 4 of the Robot Masters, and later on the remaining four become available. In this video we take on Junk Man, Freeze Man, Cloud Man, and Burst Man and find all of the secrets hidden in their stages.
As I mention in the video, it is a shame that this is the point when the original Mega Man series started to get left behind. With three games in the X series for both the Super Nintendo and PlayStation, yet only one game in the original series for each of those consoles it's pretty obvious where Capcom's priorities were. It is also a really big shame that Mega Man & Bass was never localized for the SNES since it really is an awesome game (I guess that we at least got the Game Boy Advance remake though)!
Since we are playing the Japanese version (Rockman 7 Sebun Shukumei no Taiketsu), there are a few minor differences that you will notice compared to the North American version. The main thing is obviously that some of the text is Japanese, although a really cool difference is that the levels have names now, such as Forgotten Factory for Junk Man's stage.
