Dating back to 2004, an American former MUGEN creator known as Pneophen created Sub-Zero from the first Mortal Kombat game, being his first MK character to appear in MUGEN. Later in 2008, Juano16, the Mexican MUGEN character and stage creator, gave permission to Pneophen to grant access for editing the palette-swapped character in a formation from MK1 Sub-Zero to MK2 Soul Ninja.

As of this year, I first saw a YouTube video about The_None's Butt-Head from Beavis and Butt-Head, performing his special intro against an edit of Patchouli Knowledge from Touhou Project as well as all female characters who appeared in MUGEN before the first round of the match starts. Then I had to create a Mortal Kombat character that has a programming function that triggers the announcer to exclaim "Finjsher Her!" to all female MUGEN characters if one of them is dizzy at the near-end round like special intros of Beavis and Butt-Head (both are The_None's versions only) against them. What I created for this fighting game is Sub-Zero from the first Mortal Kombat game of the series. Though I don't have permissions to Pneophen, Nacho and Juano16, and credited and appreciated them for the character, I decided to edit Pneophen's version in order to become a decent one, including the programming codes from Juano16's MK characters.

In this video, you will see my decent version of MK1 Sub-Zero, facing against Pneophen's original and old version in a fight between the variants of the original Sub-Zero from the first Mortal Kombat arcade video game. Also, my version has functionally included a compatibility of ripping out the opponent's spine just like Juano16's ones.

Enjoy!
