In a world rendered as a snowy husk, Richard has sat quietly in his cell for what seems like an eternity, until the arrival of a new inmate in the cell across from his own. This was Alice, a nice enough girl who had been charged with murder. Now that they're locked away, there's nothing left for them to do but talk about what happened before and how they got here.
