I used a random number generator to select a game from my shelf. This game is tough in my experience and have only ever beaten it with Game Genie, so if I get stuck even with using save states, I'll just stop and choose a different game, probably doing another Game Genie run on real hardware in the future.

This is a port of an arcade game, but one that is far more difficult due to limited lives.
