Ride Armor vs. General (NO CHEAT) - Mega Man X4 TAS
27The first ever Ride Armor General fight with no cheat, something that's always considered impossible. It's also the quickest kill of General.
This setup mainly requires pushing the Ride Armor with Lightning Web multiple times. An additional glitch is required, which is the Ride Armor flying on its own after dropping, so X has the time to push it with another Lightning Web.
Pausing and pushing the Ride Armor into the wall at the beginning is not absolutely required. It's the first setup I've used, and I think it looks cooler this way. I've found a newer setup that would save 4 seconds, but unfortunately it's still not fast enough to save time in the "X, 100%" or "no items" TAS.
Graphics of the Ride Armor Eagle would be glitchy after meeting the boss, probably because the game never expected you to get here with the Ride Armor.
