I am going over Ridley's character match's where he has a slight advantage in this video. This is going to hopefully help highlight why Ridley is low tier and why he needs buffs. I also am going to go over the remainder of the tier list to cover the fact that he is not hopeless and has real potential. I do forget to mention in this video at the end this games design that makes everyone "salty" and so I will say it here: The fact is since the options available promote defensive gameplay over offensive gameplay, generally in most cases this game is going to have characters struggle to be offensive, but do better being passive. Which is why spacing and being passive aggressive or hit and run tactics work so great. there needs to be more hit stun for combos to be true or to allow for follow ups. just to give an example of something to be done.
