8You'll notice that I'm not even getting attacked, but I still have to spend a ton of time doing things that don't really progress my base forward all that much. I don't think it's too bad or anything, but I suspect that if they added another element to the game that made it more challenging, they'd have to rebalance the building costs and times.
Or not. Mods are pretty popular for this game, if it gets too off kilter I'm sure someone will put in a mod to bring it back to something manageable. Even so, I'm enjoying the game as it is and like the new things, they just make the game harder and rimworld arbitrarily kills you often enough anyway.
