Rimworld's Dirtmole from Biotech is a xenotype built for mining. They have the Great Mining gene, which adds +8 skill and one passion to mining. They also have Dark Vision, meaning their work speed isn’t affected by darkness.

On top of that, they’ve got Strong Melee Damage and Fast Wound Healing.

However, they’re not perfect. The Nearsighted gene makes them worse at ranged combat, and Intense UV Sensitivity gives them a -12 mood debuff and an 80% movement speed penalty in sunlight. Lastly, the Slow Runner gene means they move slower overall.
