Ring Fit Adventure - Not Embarrassing Live Stream Part 23
3Oh man I'm playing some Ring Fit Adventure for the Nintendo Switch! I have NEVER done anything like this, so grab a smoothie and move with me! Starting World 7: The Forest Runner.
Ring Fit Adventure is a fitness game that involves actual physical activity. It comes with two accessories called the Ring Con and the Leg Strap. The Leg Strap is fairly self-explanatory. You place the left Joy Con inside it and wrap it around your left leg. The Ring Con is essentially a tension ring that you will lift, squeeze, and pull during exercise, and it actually bears a fair amount of resistance.
During the levels/battles, you control your character by running in place, squatting, and squeezing your Ring Con, among other things. At the end of every segment, the game shows you your stats, such as steps taken and calories burned. The Joy Cons can even measure your heart rate, although this part can sometimes be tricky.
This is a live gameplay walkthrough in short segments with, like, an actual person playing the game. Hopefully, I've set up my webcam in such a way that it captures my entire body as I do all the exercises. I've set the game to Intense mode, because I at least a little bit want to lose weight.
The story follows a magic talking ring named Ring, and a crazy buff boss monster in a leotard named Dragaux. He's like a dragon monster who just wants to work out, and it's unclear if he's actually evil.
