If you know a bit about the Philippines, you might've heard of Typhoon Kabayan, a very large typhoon that hit back in the Christmas of 2023. I was living on the coast- er, the crescent. You'll never believe where the typhoon went right as we were celebrating Christmas early. Me! I spent a good while getting buckets of water out of the house, though it stood tall.

I didn't get power until a week later, so I got desperate for entertainment; the emulator on my Switch tided me over for a day as I played through the entirety of Kirby's Dream Land 3 before it promptly died. That was fun.
