Rise of the Tomb Raider is the latest title to introduce DirectX 12 support with the promise of better performance for high end gaming PCs. This performance comparison was carried out on an MSI Radeon R9 380 2gb | Intel i7-5820K | 16GB

DirectX 12 is designed to boost performance for CPUs with multiple cores to allow the GPU and CPU to communicate more efficiently and so I've used over the top RAM and CPU so that the focus is on the graphics card performance in our benchmark video.
