The new Risk of Rain 2 Scorched Acres update has arrived, adding a new 3rd stage that's an alternative to Rallypoint Delta, along with a new survivor Rex, a cross between a robot and a plant!

In this update looking at gameplay from the Risk of Rain 2 Scorched Acres, we playthrough the game using the Engineer with the aim of taking the fuel array to the Abyssal Depths to unlock the Rex character - en route we play the new stage for the first time.

We discuss why the fuel array challenge is tougher than you'd expect, since the fuel array is unstable and will end your run if you take a large amount of damage at once. We also discuss what else is new in the Risk of Rain 2 Scorched Acres update - new chest types, new items, a new boss, character tweaks and more.
