This week's #RivalsChallenge is you in a 700HP Indycar threading the needle between the concrete walls of Long Beach. Join the challenge in #ProjectCARS3

[0:06] You have boost available in the IndyCar: use it for acceleration off corners.[0:11] Straight: Take path of least resistance through the kink on the Start/Finish straight and keep right.
[0:18] Turn 1: Brake at 300 board, drop into second gear, stay off inside curb. Track narrows on exit.
[0:25] Turn 2 & 3: Hug the wall through T2. Stay mid-track and thread the needle between the barrier and flower bed on the fountain for T3. Get it wrong here and you’re walking back.
[0:30] Trun 4: Set of palm trees on left is rough braking point. Stay off curb and be accurate: narrow, and be patient with throttle.
[0:36] Turn 5: Brake just after 200 board. Be careful of inside curbing. Think “slow in, fast out” and aim to exit close to outside wall.
[0:44] Turn 6 & 7: Brake at 200 board, turn in, aim for end of inside wall. Track opens-up on exit so feed the power in as early as you can and run out to the right. Careful of bumps on exit.
[0:51] Turn 8: Bring car back left, brake at 200 board. Again, “slow in, fast out”, but watch for the track narrowing heavily after the turn and careful of the bumps as you jump on-throttle.
[1:00] Turn 9: Brake at 300 board, watch for the bump on entry that can end your run, and guide the car in.
[1:06] Turn 10: Gentle brush of the brake and turn the car in smoothly: try to balance speed while hugging the inside curb.
[1:11] Turn 11: Brake in a straight line and get tucked-in for a late apex. Bring power in as you unwind steering lock, watch for the wheelspin, and use any remaining boost.
[1:16] Understeer turning in, and you’ll ruin your lap right at the last.
