This week’s Rivals Challenge takes you to the technical Nürburgring GP in the 900hp Porsche 919 Hybrid. Join the challenge in Project CARS 3.

Turn by turn guide:
[0:05] Boost: Best used for getting out of corners faster.
[0:11] Turn 1: Brake at 100m board, aim for the bollard on the inside. Exit to left but hustle to the right for T2 or your lap is already toast.
[0:21] Turn 2: Slight touch of brake (unless you’re brave). Glide through and kiss exit curb.
[0:28] Turn 3: Point car towards an early apex, then brake. Hug the curb on the inside, jink left as you exit.
[0:32] Turn 4 & 5: Slight lift for turn-in. Focus is on the exit: solid run off the corner here is vital.
[0:36] Turn 6: Brake as you pass the slip road on the right. Smooth turn in and slight trail brake. Carry speed through and aim to be in the middle of the track on exit.
[0:45] Turn 7: Bleed speed off before turning-in to avoid blowing this turn. Hit the apex, then steady with throttle and power out cleanly.
[0:51] Turn 8: Double apex hairpin. Point toward inside curb for a very early apex and drift about a car-width wide mid-turn.
[0:58] Turn 8: Second part is a late apex because you want to get the power down decisively out of
here.
[1:03] Turn 9 & 10: Be accurate with the entry and breathe on the throttle if you must. Avoid the inside curb through T9, get over the curb for T10. Can be flat if you’re hustling for a quick one.
[1:10] Turn 11: Brake at end of slip road on the right. Take inside curb and use full width of track.
[1:15] Turn 12: Gentle kiss of brake and coast in. Be patient with picking up throttle as its easy to understeer wide on exit.
[1:23] Turn13: Flat right kink, keep the boot in.
[1:27] Turn 14 & 15: Brake at 100m board. Quick hands needed: flick left then right, brush the curbs, and stay off the yellow sausage curbs—they eat egos.
[1:35] Turn 16: Brake at white line spanning the track. Aim to apex at the tyre stack at pit-entry barrier. Don't throw it away on exit and use all remaining boost.
