RIVE Gameplay - No commentary
28Today we’ve got a bit of video from 2D action game RIVE. It’s a combination of side-scrolling action and arcade-style shooting, challenging players to blow up their enemies in the most spectacular of ways. You’ve got a selection of power ups and special weapons to help you explore the abandoned space station, and you can even hack and control your robotic enemies.
You play as Roughshot, filled with down-home wisdom and eager to scavenge for parts. If that whole “story” thing isn’t your speed, then you can just shoot the NPCs and move on with it. This is the final game from Two Tribes, makers of the charming Toki Tori, so RIVE hopes to send the indie studio out in style.
