The purpose of these streams are to help out BigAl's family. His mom got into an accident at work and has to have her knee operated on. To recover she's going to be off for upwards of 8 weeks without workers comp AND she doesn't have health insurance.

BigAl has setup a chip-in widget with a goal of $500 to help pay for bills as well as his own money to help out as well. I think we as a community can do better!

So for this week (and possibly the following weeks in august), we will be doing evening streams every night this week (start Tuesday) so help spread the word and hopefully get some donations. Several members of RCG are participating with their own themed streams.

We're doing this because BigAl is a friend and he's done quite a bit for me in the past, now it's our turn to help him.
