Today we're taking a first look at the free demo for Death Must Die, a new action roguelike from indie dev group @RealmArchive. This is a highly polished demo, and although there's not an official Early Access release soon, one should be coming out in the next few months.

In this video, we'll explore the basic game mechanics, show off Avoron and Merris, the two characters playable at the moment, and meet four of the gods who will help us on our journey into the Underworld to defeat Death.

A third character is shown in the official gameplay character, but that character is not accessible in the present demo.

With beautiful graphics, a Diablo-style inventory system, and smooth combat gameplay, this game is shaping up to be a great entry in the action roguelike genre.
