When Road Rash made the next generation leap from the Genesis, it did it first on the 3DO. This is the first incarnation of the game I am familar with having played this at a demo station at a Best Buy. The game was also available on the Sega CD, but this was the true "next gen" version of the game and it was impressive. Going back and seeing how the series progressed, it seemed to do it all right by keeping the core game intact while improving the visuals and sounds. This game was eventually ported the Saturn and Playstation, with the latter being the version I'm personally most familar with.

Road Rash for the Jaguar was developed by Monkey Do Productions and published by Electronic Arts in 1994.
