ROAD TO BLACK CREEK
70Hello everyone and welcome back to another urbex adventure. In this video I'm once again climbing Dilj mountain to reach abandoned village called "Black Creek (Crni Potok)". This village was devastated by earthquake in 1964, and for last 20+ years village isn't populated, however there still is one man in that village that has a pig farm and makes a living out of it. I was lucky to run into him in this video and I got a chance to speak with him, and honestly it was awesome! Man name is Ivica, and he shared what he knows about village history with me. All objects that are there are made from wood by himself and some other people who helped him out, that its self is just impressive, but the most impressive part is the small chappel in the center of the village that's been standing there since 1937! Chappel has been build before WW2, it survived all these years even tho it is in terrible condition and looks like it will fall apart any moment. There is also military vehicle testing facility nearby and whole hill shakes from gunfire and explosions, but the chappel is still somehow standing, now if that isn't power of God, I don't know what is. All together Black Creek is one really mystical and interesting location to visit, and with Mr. Ivica there, you can't go away without joking with him or enjyoing some coffee, man is a pure legend.
