Road to Excubitor Part 4 || New World (No Commentary)
0Today we go to Everfall to take on some faction quests for the Covenant faction. Some of you might wonder why I keep going to the lower level Towns to take on these quests and my reasoning is that you basically get the same amount of reputation points as you would in a higher level Town but the quests are just 10 times easier because it is lower leveled so I would rather 2 the same quests twice that are very easy than to do the quests just once but you have a hard time doing the 1 quests so for example I will rather Everfall's quests twice than what I would do the quests once at Shattered Mountain. Today's quests will require me to do 4 PVP quests because like I said I did the quests twice for more reputation points but the PVE selection is a lot less because I do not do the quests that requires you to do Expeditions because getting a team together is a nightmare but anyway the PVE quest we did do today required us to do stuff like searching chests and fighting Ancient Guardians but the one that stood out is the one that required us to close any Corruption Portal on the map which can be a little bit of a challenge if you do not know what to expect. A Corruption Portal is basically an Elite location marked on your map as those small red dots but the only difference between this and an actual Elite location is that you get Corruption damage every few seconds so if you do not have healing potions with you I don't think you will make it and to take another player or 2 to help will make this a lot easier but anyway it is still possible to do alone you just need to go to specific Corruption Portal and have a lot of heals. In my opinion the easiest Portals to close is the ones that have the Corruption Tentacles because you can just stand far away from it and shoot it with a ranged weapon and just do some dodging every now and then to avoid taking to much damage and once the Tentacle has been defeated you just ignore the other enemies and close it with your Azoth Staff to complete that specific quest.
