0So, I have been playing Valorant for around 9/10 months. We started playing competitive a few months later. At first, I was hardstuck Iron 1. And it was reasonable. All I used to do is take a heavy weapon like ARES or Odin and camp on corners. But as I started to play more and more, I begin to get the bits and bytes of the game.
Valorant is more than just a shooting game. Yes, your aim part a huge role in this game but there are a lot more than just that. I was started to learn those but still was stuck in iron 1. Maybe I was bad but not that bad to be stuck in iron 1. Then, RIOT rolled a update and finally my id was out of iron 1.
In the end of that act, I was iron 3. Next act, I played hard and tried new agents. Learned the mechanics of the game. I ranked up to bronze and my god, life become a living hell. In my opinion, playing in bronze lobby is the hardest thing. The team mates you get are trash and opponent is full of smurfers. With a lot of ups and down, I climbed to Bronze 3 that act.
Last act, I was hard stuck in Bronze. Tried playing 4/5 stack but it all ended the same. Whenever I was going to rank up, there was smurfers ruining the game. RIOT introduced banning for being AFK and this caused more smurfers to play in lower elos. With all hope lost, i waited for the night market to drop. When night market dropped, created a few account and looked for REAVER VANDAL. Found it on one account and brought it. You can watch those in my channel. And that changed my game.
In the last week of the last act, I finally broke the curse of bronze rank and ranked myself silver one by solo queuing and definitely my game sense and aim has improved a lot. I knew, I at least deserve Silver 1. And finally getting the deserved rank motivated me to play more seriously.
I kept grinding and finally two days ago, I reached Silver 3. The grind is not still over. I will try to grind a bit more and try to hit gold 1 and I guess that's it for me. I play on Ryzen 5 3400g which can not even provide me with constant 50 fps. And in gold, we can't rank up if game lags in the middle of the fight. Let's see what happens.
