I saw this terrific post from Suprdog on the Overwatch subreddit and I wanted to test it for myself (https://redd.it/57muo1)
Also a shout out to Metaskipper who wrote the original tutorial on this technique!

The idea here is when using Roadhog's chain hook, what is the best way to pull a character close enough to guarantee a one-hit kill. Using the pull and turn method (turnhook?) we can actually pull in a character closer than the distance the game normally allows you to.

The trick to the method is after the hook hits and before it pulls in, turn about 90 degrees (or more) and strafe in the direction that you turned. Then before the character gets setup, whip back around to face the character and aim your shot. (you should queue up your primary attack at any time after the hook connects) If executed correctly, you should be able to land maximum damage on your target.

The rest of the video is dedicated to testing out each character to see whether a regular pull can kill it or if a turn pull can help.

Can't be one shotted (or extremely difficult):
All the tanks, and Bastion

Can be one shotted with turn hook:
Mei and Symmetra

Can be one shotted with regular pull and good aim:
The rest of the heroes
