Wagwan: a typical Jamaican greeting equivalent to "whats going on?" or "whats up?"
Repping: representing
Ends: area/territory/ghetto
Cotching: relaxing/chilling
Feds: police
Jacked: stolen
Yute: Jamaican slang for youth, young person or child
Innit: isn't it
Man/Mans: I, you or them
Galdem: used to describe a female or group of females
Blud/fam/cuz: man, dude, homie, mate, friend or foe etc
Buff/peng: sexy (male of female)
Raah: wow/an expression of surprise or approval
Yana: you know
Chirpsing/chirps: flirt/flirting/chatting up/hitting on etc
Swear Down: I swear/seriously/I'm being honest
Bare: really/very/a lot/large quantity or size etc
Clocked/clock: realised/figured out/noticed
Ting: thing
Block/on the block: on the housing estate/flats/projects/ghetto residence/apartments etc
Mandem: used to describe a male or group of males or friends
Long: laborious, tedious
Long ting: long thing (same as above)
Bun: to dismiss something/to smoke weed
Hyped: excited/enthusiastic/active
Butters: butt ugly/unattractive
Skets(plural)/sket: slut, whore, bitch, overly promiscuous woman
Beef: fight/fighting
*kmt*: kiss my teeth, a "mtchew" kind of sound produced by doing just that, used to display frustration or a distasteful attitude towards something or someone
Ops: rivals
Pussyhole: an insult that pretty much usually means what it says on the tin. It is used in the same way as just calling someone a pussy.
Shook: afraid/frighted/scared etc
Allow/allow it/allow that/allow me: leave alone/don't hurt/don't go through with it/have mercy etc
Freshie: immigrant/fresh off the boat
You dun know: done already known used as a conformation of something/excitement/celebration or to gloat
Mumzy: mum/mom/mother
Sick: good/great/amazing/highly skilled at something
Brap: a kind of imitation of a gun shot that is used an expression of excitement or celebration
Bang: have sex/beat up
Wifey: girlfriend or wife
Chatting shit: insulting/talking nonsense/telling lies
Gassing/gas: lying/misleading/being dishonest
Parring: insulting/humiliating
Wasteman: a worthless/useless person
Hold tight: shout out/stay safe
