A brief play (with review/commentary) of Proof of Destruction (aka P.O.D.) developed by Shaun Southern and published by Mastertronic in 1987. This gameplay footage was captured under emulation with VICE 2.4 running on Mac OS X.

When I always think of quality budget games on the C64, this would have to be one of the standouts. Offering some nice tight gameplay, put together in a nicely presented package, well worthy of the budget price point of the day.

(And I won't deny I'm just a little nostalgic at that idea disappearing into the ether with the march of time...)
