A brief play (with review/commentary) of the C64 port of Deep Strike, developed by Nick Wilson & published by Durell Software way back in 1986/7. This gameplay footage was captured under emulation with VICE 2.4 running on Mac OS X.

I tend to like a good flight game (whether simulation, or arcade style), and had some hopes for this, but truth be told, it's not that great. Which, I shouldn't be surprised with - I'd not realised I actually had this one (via the joys of magazine cover tapes), but don't really remember spending time with it back in the day...
