38As you can see, there's a lot of feelings about this one. I started off kinda meh on it, then got more hype, then learned it was Hamlet and feelings have soured again.

At worst, this is a dog-whistle as he suggests, and at best, it indicates an uncritical approach to Norse material that has terrifying implications for the rest of the risky material (e.g. Úlfhéðnar).
There is a path for this to be a fascinating, brilliant movie that is unfriendly to fascists, but it is a narrow path with steep cliffs on either side.
