Guide for Robin's basic tools and combos to get you started playing Injustice. These combos may not be optimized, but range from beginner to intermediate in difficulty and should give you a head start in learning this character. Because of the flexibility of Injustice 2's combo system, these combos should be used more as examples so you can create your own. Feedback and questions are welcome!
Additional notes:
Time for something new! Robin is currently my favorite character out of the Injustice 2 cast. His combo game is fairly straight forward, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind.
Usually I juggle into 2-1-2 during combos. This is his most damaging string and also provides a hard knockdown, but can be awkward to combo into at times. If you're having trouble, I recommend using his b1-2 string instead. It's less damage but works much more reliably.
Remember that pretty much all of these combos can be started if a db1 hits a grounded opponent. That move has a lot of hitstun.
bf3 is his best ender for damage, but it leaves them at an awkward restand position. You are +2 so you can still move first, but if it's not your style, try canceling the final string into either db2, setting up trait, or db1.
