Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked! - Rocket Knight Adventures 2 Boss Rush
Definitely likely that I’m missing some tech on the bosses but, meh, I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the original. Sparkster’s regular sword attacks feel so sluggish and unsatisfying in this game, and the roulette wheel is so ill-thought-out (surely players will love being punished by bombs or net neutral rolls for red/blue gems for actually going out of their way to collect gems!). Many of the stages/bosses are just boring (too long on downtimes, or take too many hits). Stage 3 in particular is just obnoxious to me all around and is almost enough on its own to keep the game from being enjoyable to replay. I will say that the rocket attacks feel better to control in this game (kind of indifferent to the gauge filling up on its own). Not really a criticism, but it’s funny that they blatantly ripped off the 7 Chaos Emeralds/Supers re: swords/gold armor. Certainly not bad, and I’d argue it has a better soundtrack than the original, but a solid fine from me gameplay-wise.
