*Press the left side of the touchpad to pause the game

*COMPLETE THE HUNTING RECORD AND QUARRIES! I would highly RECOMMEND doing this. Not only is this for a trophy. It'll help you level up a little faster. It will also help you farm the needed materials you get from the enemy drops. Which brings me to...

*SELL NOTHING!!! You are going to need these materials for "The Factory" and each character's Revelation Flow. And these are for 2 trophies.

*Focus on these abilities first when filling up the characters' Revelation Flow:

Flash Sword
Illusion Sword
Desert Wind
Break Throw
Any other ability you are able to upgrade

:: Steve ::
Icy Eye Beam
Attack Up
Any other ability you are able to upgrade

:: Lilika ::
Warrior God's Cry
Beast Call
Any other ability you are able to upgrade

Just try to fill up as much as the characters' Revelation Flow as you can. And you probably notice I took a particular interest in these characters. This is the team I used later on in the game. In my opinion, I think this is the best team.

*Whenever you start working on completing the "Hunting Record" -- make sure you do this near Save Station. It's here where you and your party's Health and AP replenishes. If you are not near one, make sure you have plenty of potions to replenishes both Health and AP. Still... You should make note where one is so you can use it rather than using one of your potions.

*When you gain a new weapon -- make sure you immediately equip it and level it up. It'll only takes 10 battles (I think?) to get it up to MAX Level. You can totally spam this by fighting weak enemies. Why level up weapons? It's because you will meet Froggy, a frog who has the ability to create new weapons by combining 2 MAX Level weapons. And this is for 2 trophies.

*The game's difficulty spikes early on. So this is why I would highly RECOMMEND completing the Hunting Record and Quarries. I would also RECOMMEND you grind before every boss fight. As well as saving your progress! Again, this game gets hard real fast.

*If one of the members on your active team should fall in battle and you fail to revive that member, they will miss out on the EXP they would've earn in the battle. So make sure to revive your teammates.

And those are all the tips I have. If you are not planning on getting the Platinum for the game, then you should just enjoy the game. It is very good. It surprisingly holds up well -- despite it being a PS2 game and released back in 2005.
