So I'm noticing that being able to recover hp might actually be good. I feel like if i hadn't started off needing to finish the other challenge, this might've been one stream for the whole thing. I'd kinda been wondering if I could beat Rogue Legacy 2 in a single stream, especially now that my streams have gotten half an hour shorter than they used to be.

I guess Thanatophobia provides a lot of free stuff that accelerates the game, though, not only in terms of gold but also in terms of not needing to get all the basic abilities and the damage bonuses. Still, single stream Thanatophobia seems possible. I'm just not sure how interesting it would be as a challenge.
