Rogue Legacy - Review - THE Nintendo Switch 'Hidden Gem'!
40Rogue Legacy, the spectacular indie game that originally released way back on June 27, 2013, is now confirmed for a Nintendo Switch release on November 6th, 2018 for $14.99 USD.
If you are unfamiliar with the gameplay, think Shovel Knight meets Dead Cells. Or, more simply, a rogue-like metroidvania that has you traversing a huge castle (and beyond) that constantly changes its map and layout with each death.
Upgradable abilities, armor, and buffs are available for purchase with the gold collected throughout the game from killing enemies and opening treasure chests. The premise seems simple enough, but when paired with the deeply subtle music, high levels of difficulty, and nearly ENDLESS variety of heirs with special abilities (and disabilities), the game feels new each time you fire it up.
