♫Ronfaure (Final Fantasy XI Piano Collections)♫

One of the few pieces Nobuo Uematsu composed for FFXI, and also happens to be the only one by him in the Piano Collections (which I think I like best)! The rest in the book are all by Naoshi Mizuta, the main composer for the game. Do check out the Distant Worlds orchestral arrangement, because that's how this Ronfaure piece got my attention! It's actually the only piece from FFXI that I like as of now. I hope to hear it performed live during the 30th FF anniversary concert this coming October. :D

I've put quite some thought into the staccato pair that occurs throughout the piece, and have decided on this particular note length - detached but not sharply short. Also, if you listen carefully, not all pairs have both notes played staccato. That is intentional. Listen from 1:28 to 2:14 for all the different ways I've played it!
