Root Canal is the 2nd mission in the Green Park level. There are 30 Nitro boxes to be found in this mission.

Area 1 - Inside the Park (0:00): 18 Nitros
The Nitro boxes are found in the same locations as they were in Bat Caves. When you go for the Nitro box that is right in front of the Bat Caves entrance make sure you don't get too close to the entrance otherwise you'll accidentally enter the level.

Area 2 - Hungry, Hungry Hogweed (2:24):
This area starts off with a fight against a rather ornery plant. First off, defeat the 4 tendrils; the plant seems to be undefeatable unless you do.

Once you're down to the main part of the plant wait for it to attack and then go in for a hit yourself. The plant'll then snap at you twice. Then the plant will either snap at you again or do nothing. If it does nothing then step toward it for a moment then back away. This will entice him to try to attack you. Once it's attack is finished, hit it. You don't absolutely have to entice the 3rd attack out of the plant, but if you try to hit him without doing so you're likely to get hit yourself. After several hits the plant will be defeated and a hole will open up.

Area 3 - Slip Slidin' Away (3:30) 12 Nitros, 2 Hostages
Jump into the hole and you'll be at the top of a large slide. Head downwards and collect the Nitro boxes/KNARF tokens/hostages on the way while dodging the tendrils and TNT boxes. Once you're at the bottom there is a doorway that you can go through to the left of the "K" door. Break the Nitros in this area and then take the water stream up to the top of the slide if you missed anything.

Hostage #1 & #2 (4:31): The hostages themselves are at the very bottom of the slide, but the cranks to free them are a little before the slide ends. You CANNOT go up the slide to hit the cranks so you'll have to get them on your way down. They can be a pain to hit and unfortunately I don't have much advice. If you keep missing the cranks then try to jump a bit earlier than you are. Imagine if you were trying to hit the handle itself and not the main body of the crank. Anyway, good luck.

Area 4 - Boss Stage (5:10): Sumo Kuma - The best way I've found to fight this guy is by enticing him to jump toward you as much as possible. If he tries to run toward you, jump spin towards him to scare him backwards (you can sometimes damage him like this as well) until he lunges toward you. When he does, move just a little out of his way and hit his back.

Sometimes he'll turn around and give you a quick smack, dodge it if you can. If at any point during the fight he turns his back to you, try to hit him in the back.
