Bat Caves is the 1st mission in the Green Park level. There are 30 Nitro boxes in this mission.

Area 1 - Inside the Park (0:00): 18 Nitros
There's a 1-UP hidden in the statue of the skinny person (conductor?) holding the long piece of paper and stick. Knock the statue over to get it. Aside from bats the only enemies here are the goofy onion guys. The only time you can damage them is when they're stunned after they land on their heads.

Area 2 - Cavernous Cavern (2:08): 8 Nitros, 1 Hostage
When the 2nd rock is rolling toward you you'll need to turn around and drop down into the little pit. While you're in there you MUST duck. If you're standing up the rock will kill you.
Breaking the 2 Nitros without dying while the 3rd rock is rolling behind you is a bit tricky. If you want to you can just focus on getting to the bottom so that the rock falls through the floorboards and then turn back to grab the 2 Nitro boxes.

The onion kid that drops the "N" token can't damage you while you stand on the pipe. It's best to wait on top of it until he opens himself up to your attack. Move around a little if necessary to entice him to jump.

Hostage #1 (5:41): After climbing 1 of the chains you'll see the hostage at the end of a green walkway. The crank is found above the steps that lead to the hostage.

Area 3 - Caves Continued (6:46): 4 Nitros, 1 Hostage
Jump and spin as you're going up the slope at the start of this area. Doing so will help protect you from the barrels that are being thrown. Don't forget the 2 Nitros near Hostage #2.

Hostage #2 (6:59): At the end of giant mashers you'll find yourself looking at a "Z" shaped piece of wood on the wall that smacks you if you get too close. To the left is a kind of mesh wall. Hit it to knock it over and follow this path until you reach the end where the hostage can be found. Note that you may find it easier to defeat all of the enemies on your way down rather than running passed them like I do. The crank to free the hostage is found just before her cage.

Area 4 - Boss Stage (8:23): The French Kisser - Hop to a platform with a TNT box on it while dodging the French Kisser's tongue. Quickly pick up the TNT box and hurl it toward him. If you successfully hit him he'll start jumping up and down to knock stalactites down onto the platforms in an attempt to hit you. The platforms in between the TNT box platforms are safe from the stalactites so jump on one until the they stop falling.
Continue fighting the frog by throwing TNT boxes at him while dodging his tongue/stalactites for the entirety of the match until he's defeated.
