425What if the body's physical & emotional tension could be resolved by the power of gentle touch? Rosen Method Bodywork was developed by a woman who practiced touch therapy for psychoanalysis patients and physical therapy, later combining elements from her experiences to help people feel less pain and get more from their lives with nonjudgmental, safe listening; gentle touch; and giving people self-awareness about what their body is doing so that they can change it on their own.
Filming these kind of videos has been a question of, “do I film me as a POV thing and the movements are off-screen,” or, “do I film the movements and I am off-screen;” the former has been favored by those who I have asked. Then it occurred to me: why choose? I think the addition of the B-Roll with the movements gave the video a lot more body considering that Rosenwork is very slow and very deliberate and there is not a lot happening from an outsider perspective.
