74The eleventh episode of my RotaryCraft tutorial series covers the Sonic Borer, an awesome mining machine that can break blocks at range. We also look at the Item Vacuum, which has great synergy with the Sonic Borer.
Next episode we're going to look at the Bedrock Breaker, the gateway to the best tools, shafts, gearboxes and some high tier machines.

UPDATE: The Sonic Borer has some odd interactions with Liquid source blocks. If a liquid source is touching a layer of blocks that the borer destroys the source will be destroyed. However, if additional liquids enter the shaft, or even new source blocks, at that spot, the borer will ignore them. This means that if you break into a lava pool with the borer the source blocks that are in its path will be destroyed, however any lava that drips into the shaft from nearby sources will not be affected.
