RotaryCraft Tutorial #9 - Boring Machine
The ninth episode of my RotaryCraft tutorial series covers the Boring Machine. One of the automated mining machines in RotaryCraft
UPDATE: The almighty Reika has gifted us with his wisdom.
The torque, like the power, is per block. 512Nm for a full face will not even dig through a wall of stone.
Two, that 512 value is for vanilla blocks; mod blocks are often much harder, requiring 2048Nm or more per block.
Three, it can in fact cut through bedrock in the nether ceiling, as long as it has 8192Nm and 2MW of power per block.
Next episode we're going to look at the Piledriver. An awesome looking machine with huge power requirements.
