The 26th episode of my RotaryCraft tutorial series tries to cover the TNT Cannon. I was unable to get the targeting assist device to work so I couldn't show you that. If I do find out how it works I might make a short video about it.

UPDATE: Shift+Right Click the TNT Cannon with a Screwdriver causes FTB Monster to crash if you then Right Click on the Cannon. That is how you put the Cannon in targeting mode though, so you'll need to load it with TNT before you set the mode if you're using FTB Monster. At least mine crashes, your mileage may vary.

Next episode we'll be blowing out your eardrums with the Sonic Weapon.
