RPCS3 - SoulCalibur IV with PPU Recompiler and Vulkan on i7-5820K
311This is the fourth video showcasing improvements to performance thanks to the improved LLVM recompiler by Nekotekina, and improvements to graphics thanks to fixes by kd-11. Performance is increased, although with an i7-5820K the performance delta isn't as large as with a "normal" CPU. Moreover broken shadows have been fixed. The game suffers from occasional graphics glitches, often around menus and cutscenes when running with Vulkan, but it looks fine (and runs slower) with OpenGL. Near the very end of this video an example is given of this issue. The actual gameplay fights look fine however, and the game is playable if you can ignore the stuttering audio and the sound clipping effect which is actually an emulation problem and not a recording problem.
