#RPG - Game Design: System Matters, System Changes
93I think system does matter when it comes to running a game. I've also made the big (huge) decision to change the system I'm using for one of my upcoming games, to the one used in AFM. Game systems matter because when they work in synergy with the theme, mood and genre they help and lift up the Games Master, rather than getting in their way, and encourage certain player behaviours.
