What do you mean I'm over a year late?
Here's my take on the Sage in a turn-based game. Most of the mechanics are identical to the actual Sage (and somehow Haima and Painhaima work perfectly), so as always if you don't know the original class in FFXIV it might be difficult to understand. To quickly summarize, the Sage is a Healer class specialized in shields, that can link to a party member and every time they cast a damaging spell on an enemy, the ally they are linked to will receive a small heal. I simplified the Addersgall and Addersting stacks into only Addersgall, and it's simply gained by using your main offensive spell, which fits the whole "offensive healer" theme of the FFXIV Sage. I also took some liberty with the LB which applies Kardion on the whole party for 3 turns, since I want each LB to have its own flair.
Just like the previous one (three years ago already, damn), the video is divided into two sections, the first showcases all of the Sage's actions on a dummy fight and the second is a simple battle I had designed ages ago, so no obscure reference this time, outside of the enemy's name, which is a private joke with someone I'm sadly not in contact with anymore, but I promised it would be there and I'm a man of my word. You may also see some updated bits for the other present classes and some polish here and there on the UI.
