Rule Of Rose Walkthrough Part 10: Stray Dog And The Lying Princess (FINAL BOSS FIGHT & ENDING)
3Soon after Brown's death and Wendy's ousting from Red Crayon Aristocrat Club, Jennifer, now once again an adult, wakes up in the orphanage during an stormy evening as she is forced to relieve one final, horrrifying memory of her childhood; In December 1930, Wendy returned to Rose Garden Orphanage for the first time since being ousted. As they notice it, other orphahans, who chose Jennifer as Wendy's replacement within the Aristocrat Club, rush out to confront her. However, soon afterwards, screaming starts in the front courtyard of the orphanage. As she follows the screams, Jennifer reaches the front door of the building where she is confronted by Wendy, dressed as the mysterious boy who tormented Jennifer through the earlier part of her journey through her twisted memories, leading Gregory M. Wilson, stripped down into his underwear, sporting visible rope lashes and walking on all fours, in grotesque representation of a dog, on an improvised leash made out of a noose, heavily implying that Wendy, aware of Gregory's severely unstable mental state caused by his grief for his deceased son, exploited it by dressing up as him in order to manipulate Gregory and turn him into a feral monster in order to get a revenge on Aristocrat Club members. As Wendy orders Gregory to advance on Jennifer, having already massacred all other orpahans who went out into the courtyard, she is forced to face Gregory in combat. As the fight within the main hall of the orphanage progresses, Brown suddenly appears to assist Jennifer with two ultimately gaining upper hand, managing to kill Gregory. However, as Jennifer walks out of the orphanage to confront Wendy, she removes her wig and tells Jennifer that she didn't plan for Gregory to kill everyone, giving her the revolver she stole from Gregory's house while helping Jennifer escape Gregory's house in 1929 and urging her to stop him with Gregory, now seeing that Wendy isn't actually his son, dragging her into the building and killing her before crawling out into the courtyard to continue his fight with Jennifer. In the ensuing final confrontation, Jennifer avoids Gregory's attacks and, as Gregory stops, she uses the opportunity to give him the revolver. With the revolver in hand, Gregory, fully broken by his son's death and massacre he had committed, decides to kill himself by shooting himself in the head. Afterwards, Jennifer and Brown leave the orphanage, only for Jennifer to wake up back in the building, now seeing the true, non-twisted version of her childhood memories from 1930. Now fully aware of the truth about her childhood and resolved to ensure that she never forgets what happened in Rose Garden Orphanage, Jennifer leaves the orphanage grounds, symbolically locking all memories of her life within, both good and bad, away. Proceeding down the forest trail near the orphanage, Jennifer heads into a shed near the orphanage grounds where she first found Brown when he was still a puppy. As she finds him within, Jennifer, fully determined to remember her canine friend, writes down an oath "Everlasting true love, i am yours" on a small blackboard within the shed, revealing its true significance to her childhood. Afterwards, she leaves the shed and locks it, symbolically locking her memories of Brown away while also moving past her traumatic childhood in Rose Garden Orphanage.
