Personally I only experienced FPS issues in a few remote areas, and whenever the game would randomly kick me into Safe mode. Today's update brings improvements to the FPS issues lower end machines were experiencing, and even I notice a few changes. As soon as I stopped recording the vid, my FPS shot back up to 50, so it was the screen recorder hindering me.
With this update, more bot disruptions were announced as well, although they didn't specifically call this the Optimus update, so it's quite possible this isn't even Optimus at all!
