Moments ago, I tested the PC version of Codename/Lifeforce Tenka under DOSBox-Pure and noticed that the game was running at such a speed which made me come to the conclusion at it was nothing more than a sloppy PC port for a pretty solid yet quite flawed PlayStation game which I had always liked since growing up playing the demo during my first days of PlayStation ownership and still do even now.

However, David Butler just highlighted that the game can run at its intended speed under the Pentium II, 300mhz - 1997 setting. And I followed his advice and set the Emulation Performance to exactly how he highlighted.

And now....... The game runs exactly at how it was supposed to be, except that this time, there is also slowdown in many parts here and there, but it now runs at a speed that it was supposed to run at, albeit at a very similar speed to how the original PlayStation PAL release ran under.

But then again, the PC port was still very sloppy when all is said and done, and I still much more prefer the PlayStation version in terms of performance, minus the controls though. But then again, even the original PlayStation game had some flaws in terms of hit-detection and massive slow-down in some areas.
