Running Far Cry 2 Demo on Microsoft Surface Pro 1280X720
7First, Every FPS counter you see, add 5 to it and it will give you the correct results without the video capture software enabled. Second, any lagged noticed was introduced by the video capture software since it was almost none existent with the capture software disabled. Note that this one did not display full screen (it will only do that if you choose DX9), so you will have a big border around the game.
I set all Render Quality settings to Medium, all performance counters were set to Low. AA was off. Resolution 1280X720. Direct3D 10 was enabled.
Playing at 1080p was possible running 15-30 FPS, but as expected, ALL bells and whistles were turned off. The video for that one actually was very lagged.
This one is definitely Pro enabled at various settings and resolutions.
