**REVIEW**
Tested on the PlayStation 5 and on the PlayStation Vita systems.
Rush Rover is an overhead shooter that I found quite enjoyable. The pace can be frantic but remains fun to play. The variety of upgrades and boosts available for your character can be a little daunting and I wish there was more of a tutorial explaining those elements of the game. Graphically it keeps a more retro look and feel with the pixel art design.
The levels are randomly generated which aids in the replayability of the title and gradually increases in difficulty as you continue through the levels. There are two modes of playing, Arcade and Dodge. Arcade is the basic game, where you traverse through levels, destroying the enemies. Dodge mode is essentially a game of dodgeball, where an enemy blisters you with bullets trying to hit you a certain number of times. Both modes are fun to experience.
Overall, the game is a nice indie title and worth playing.
