Wow. I'm so pleasantly shocked and excited. A game from the early 2010s has officially been reborn and it kicks as much ass as it did back in 2011.

Rusty Hearts was a dungeon crawling, beat'em up, action MMORPG. It released into close beta back in the summer of 2011. It went on to enjoy a 3 year run on Steam via PWE. The game started with 3 toons, added a 4th who used heavy gunplay and then released "variants" of the original 4. Each character has 3 weapons you can focus on ranging from swords to claws to scythes. You enter dungeons on a variety of difficulties and plow through each room, killing tons of baddies. Once you clear the room, you can move on. If you ever played Chronoblade on Facebook, this game is similar.

If you're a fan of games like Double Dragon and Final Fight, do yourselves a favor and try the game out. Sometimes you just need to mindlessly pummel some fish people.
